St ronan's parent partnership

Who are we?

What do we do?

What do we do?

We are a group of parents or carers of children in the school. Ideally the partnership will always include at least 1 parent from each year group from nursery up to P7. Currently we have 2 or more representatives per year from P1-P7.

We meet every couple of months with school staff representatives; normally a member of Senior Management plus one or two teaching staff.

 Our aims are to:

· Identify and represent the view of parents to the school management team.

· Support the school in its vision values and aims; this may involve working as part of a sub-group on a particular focus such as Health &Wellbeing.

· Help to make improvements by working together with parents, pupils, staff and the wider community.

· Support the school to be a welcoming place where all families feel included.

Some examples of things we are currently involved in include: organising the P7 leavers hoodies, helping to coordinate a World of Work week, providing input into production of an updated School Handbook.
